The time I spent living in Georgia was life changing. Amazing music history amazing musicians and a lot of amazing people that I met there.
Among those would be AnitaKorwin, Jesse Lee Korwin and Rosa Lee Jackson AKA granny. One of the most endearing families I’ve ever met. Granny was a one of a kind. I remember when she would hear the freight train blow and she would hold my arm and say “Jeeuum that’s the most Lonesome sound ever. I don’t like that sound”.
I had to write a song for this beloved woman when she passed away. I talked to lots of family members, took their thoughts and shaped them into a song. Although this song was recorded a long time ago at the advice of my kids I’m releasing it now so everyone can enjoy it! Thanks for listening. Forever grateful.
